Senior Interior Designer/Interior Architect - Join Our Creative Studio!

Do you have a passion for creating beautiful, contemporary and timeless interiors? Working on a mix of private residential, commercial and fit-out projects? Meeting people and helping them bring their brief to life? 

If the answer is yes, then Optimise Design would like to meet you. We are looking for an enthusiastic and expierenced Interior designer or Interior architect to join our busy studio with an immediate start. 

Optimise Design is an award-winning architecture and interior design practice based in Dublin 2. In the past year, our client base has grown rapidly and we are looking to grow our team to meet the demands of our expanding portfolio. With a diverse range of projects on the horizon, we are keen to onboard dedicated professionals ready to contribute to our journey of design excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of designs from conception to realization.
  • Effectively interpret and deliver both written and verbal design briefs.
  • Develop, present, and refine compelling design concepts to clients.
  • Masterfully source and specify FF&E in alignment with client briefs and budget constraints.
  • Produce detailed technical drawings and FF&E designs.
  • Oversee project building stages ensuring alignment with design specifications.
  • Actively share insights and feedback from projects during design reviews to promote team growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external professionals, suppliers, and clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the director, bringing vision to life.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of responsibility in projects from inception to completion.
  • A standout portfolio showcasing contemporary interiors across both residential and commercial projects.
  • Demonstrated excellence in design, coordination, and project management.
  • Proficient understanding of construction, manufacturing, FF&E (materials, finishes, detailing, scheduling), and procurement.
  • Experience with FF&E selection, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement.
  • Mastery in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, and 3D rendering tools.
  • Stellar communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Self-starter attitude combined with the spirit of teamwork.
  • BA in Interior Design, Architectural Interior Design, or a related field, with at least four years of post-graduate experience.
